Beginning May 4th
2ND ANNUAL MEMBERS EXHIBIT AT THE TOWN HALL!
The SAA will be hosting our 2nd Annual All Members Spring Exhibit at the Exeter Town Hall Upstairs Gallery, 10 Front St. The exhibit will take place for 3 weekends in May: May 4-5, 11-12, & 18-19, noon to 4pm plus an opening reception May 10, 4-6pm. The exhibit titled "Primavera - The Art of Spring" will benefit the scholarship fund and is open to the public. CLICK HERE for more information about the SAA Scholarship Fund.

Friday May 10th
TWO OPENING RECEPTIONS in one night!
We will be hosting our Second Friday reception at 2 Locations in May. It's an easy walk between both events. Enjoy a perfect spring night out!
Exeter Town Hall Upstairs Gallery 4-6pm, the amazingly talented violin brothers Dacha and Sava Thurber present a special music program for the “Primavera” Exhibit.
SAA Gallery 5-7pm, Maine singer-songwriter Jerry Short returns with original compositions, old favorites, and new tunes on guitar, harmonica, dobro and vocals.
Receptions are FREE and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend.

EXETER ART WALK AT THE SAA!
Join us for the 2024 Exeter Art Walk noon-4pm each day where the SAA along with nine other art organizations will be open for a fun weekend of art, studios, music and refreshments! CLICK HERE for a printable tour guide.

NEW THEME SHOW EXHIBIT!
This May our Theme Show titled "In Full Bloom" will be ready for viewing Sunday April 28th and brings just what we've been waiting for! It's time to surround yourself with the fresh and beautiful colors of spring! Stop by and vote for the People's Choice Award.

NEW BODY OF WORK EXHIBITS!
We are pleased to present two new Body of Work Exhibits beginning May 1st: "Let Me Take You There" by Cheryl Sager where she explores the secret and special places behind doors and "Always Near Water" by Stephen Emery Carr where he explores his love for water, boats and architecture.

NEW ART ON OUR WALLS!
Beginning May 8th, our walls will take on a new look as we changeover the work of over 30 exhibiting artists! It promises to be a breath of fresh air.

Did you know we have a wide assortment of affordable unframed matted work throughout the gallery? We are refreshing many of these works and would be happy to help you make complimentary selections of any of the work in the gallery to update your home!
Sunday May 12th
NEW 2ND SUNDAY DEMO!
This May, instructor and watercolorist Bill Paarlberg will discuss the "many-splendored" life of the working artist - May 12th from 11:30-1:00! Bill specializes in watercolor and especially in Plein Air. This May he will discuss how he composes using recycled work, media images and new drawings as well as do a brief demo.
