2024 The Great Cocktail Challenge

The Great Cocktail Challenge was created to celebrate the creativity in cocktails and mocktails of our local restaurants. Inviting the restaurants to enlist the talents of their Masters of Mixology and create their SIGNATURE DRINK.

Held between Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 28, the
2024 Great Cocktail Challenge will answer the question:
"Who makes the best cocktail/mocktail in the Exeter Area?"

Voting opens on Friday, July 19 @ 12:00PM and closes on Sunday, July 28 @ 11:59 PM

How it works: 
It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3!
1: Restaurants: If you are a restaurant interested in signing up, register HERE (button to the right on desktop, on the bottom on mobile)
2: Participants: Check the Participating Restaurants page, decide where to go, and sample as many cocktails/mocktails as possible! 
     Post your photos to Instagram (@exeter_area_chamber) and Facebook (@exeterareachamber) - top 3 images win a prize!
3: Vote: Once you've tried everything you're interested in trying, vote for your favorite!
 

RESTAURANTS:

• Registration is open through July 12th.
• If you are a restaurant interested in signing up, ​please Register Here. If you have questions, reach out to Renee at the Chamber renee@exeterarea.org. 
• Registration is FREE for Chamber Members in good standing and $150 for Not-Yet-Members in one of the 10 communities served by the Chamber.  If you are interested in joining the Chamber, your registration fee can be applied to your membership. 
• ​Create your signature drink, name it and send us a description and a photo.  We will post them on the Chamber website and social media.
• Share that you’re participating in The Great Cocktail Challenge with the community on social media, newsletter, etc. 
• During The Great Cocktail Challenge, offer your signature drink on the menu, and share the QR code (that will be given to you) with your diners so they can vote for their favorite cocktail/mocktail.
• The cocktail/mocktail with the most votes will be 2024 Great Cocktail Challenge Champion!  
• The winning restaurant will receive The Great Cocktail Challenge Trophy to be displayed at their restaurant for one year during their reign as champion.  They will also receive coverage on social media, and- for members only- a year of free advertising in the community cash gift certificate program.

DINERS:

• ​Between July 19 - 28, 2024, head to as many locations as possible and try their Cocktail/Mocktail Entry
• Check out our list of Participating Restaurants and their entries! Check back often, as we'll keep the list updated as entries come in!
• Post your photos to Instagram (@exeter_area_chamber) and Facebook (@exeterareachamber) - The top 3 images win a prize!
• PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY

VOTING:

• Voting opens on July 19, 2024 at noon
• After you've tried all the cocktails/mocktails you're interested in trying, VOTE HERE!
• ONE VOTE PER PERSON
• Voting closes on July 28, 2024 at 11:59 pm
